Joy earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Education/Student Services Administration from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Briar Cliff University in Communications.

Joy worked as a Higher Education Administrator for over 10 years both in Colorado and the Midwest. While serving as Assistant Director of Admissions, she assisted hundreds of students and families navigate the college selection process, identify the best fields of study appropriate to a successful student career path, and orchestrated financial aid packages and scholarship eligibility.

Joy has worked with large state universities, private four-year colleges, and community colleges. She is an expert in identifying support services that best complement student gifts and talents. Joy is very passionate about working with students and their families as they continue to work toward their college years.

Joy’s philosophy is that every student has the ability to shine during the college application and search process if they are educated on how to do that. The post high-school years are an exciting next step and which Joy is passionate about guiding and assisting students with their many options. Knowledge is truly power. Joy empowers students to be their best. Her mission has always been to enable students to make the most informed choices that they possibly can as they move forward in this critical time of their lives.
